Kiro, a leading player in the defense and security sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tender Submission Specialist.
This individual will be responsible for the preparation, review, and submission of tender documentation related to ammunition and weapons for contracts within the United States, the United Nations, and Israel.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of procurement processes, compliance, and regulations specific to defense contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Research and Identification:
Monitor and identify relevant tender opportunities in the United States, United Nations, and Israel related to ammunition and weapons.
Conduct market research to assess upcoming projects and procurement needs.
Documentation Preparation:
Prepare and compile all necessary paperwork and documentation required for tender submissions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the drafting of technical proposals, ensuring clarity and compliance with tender specifications.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and legal, to gather required information and ensure accuracy in submissions.
Liaise with external partners and vendors as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all submissions meet specific regulatory requirements outlined by government entities and international bodies, including ITAR and export control laws.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and compliance standards affecting tender submissions in the defense sector.
Submission Management:
Manage the submission timeline and ensure all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
Track and record submission details and outcomes, maintaining an organized database of current and past tenders.
Proposal Evaluation:
Assist in the evaluation of proposals and bids received from subcontractors or partners for compliance and competitiveness.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on tender submissions and outcomes for management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify best practices for tender preparation and submission processes and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements: - Proven experience in tender submissions, bid management, or procurement within the defense industry.
- Understanding of procurement processes and regulatory environments related to ammunition and weapons.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tender management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with international regulations, particularly related to defense contracting and export controls.
- Experience working with governmental and international organizations, including the United Nations and defense ministries.
