Were hiring a Full-Stack / Platform Engineer to own the interface that connects our tech to the real world - what defense users, operators, and mission teams actually see and use.
This is not a pure frontend or backend role. Youll own the full stack that powers real-time situational awareness: from backend APIs and telemetry pipelines to Command & Control dashboards and alerting surfaces. Your work is what turns a tech demo into a fieldable product - enabling tasking, live streaming and alert monitoring, post-mission review, and secure control workflows for mission-critical operations.
This isnt a narrow frontend job - its an opportunity to build the next generation of AI-powered maritime software infrastructure from the ground up, with full ownership and impact, alongside the most innovative team in the most advanced company in this space.
What Will You Do?
Build the C4I UI MVP and operational dashboards for tasking, alert review, and evidence playback.
Design and implement backend services, APIs, and real-time telemetry pipelines (WebSockets, UDP).
Manage multi-sensor data ingestion, storage, and metadata schemas for tracks, alerts, and evidence.
Implement streaming video, alert overlays, and user interaction surfaces.
Own cloud/on-prem deployment patterns, containers, CI/CD and environment configuration.
Translate operational workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces that reduce cognitive load.
Drive reliability, latency, and last-mile polish for field pilots and demos (alerting, playback, exports).
Collaborate closely with product, field, and algorithm teams to iterate fast and deliver.
Requirements: Requirements:
5+ years of full-stack or platform engineering experience.
Proficiency in frontend development (React/TypeScript or equivalent).
Strong grasp of real-time systems, streaming data, and telemetry protocols.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/K8s), CI/CD pipelines, and production deployment.
Experience designing secure end-user systems.
High ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery mindset.
Nice-To-Haves:
Experience with multi-sensor UI/UX design (video, tracks, alerts, maps)
Background in defense, C2/C4I systems, or mission-focused UIs
Familiarity with WebRTC, media and data streaming
Prior work on role-based access, AAR tooling, or operator tooling in high-stakes domains.
Challenges & Opportunities:
Build the interface that defense users and operators trust during real missions
Lead the transition from prototype to deployable C2 system
Balance UX simplicity with deep system complexity
Join a high-impact, close-knit team working at the bleeding edge of autonomy and robotics
This position is open to all candidates.
