Managing strategic supplier relationships
Developing supplier relationships and handling negotiations
Sourcing new suppliers
Leading cost reduction initiatives
Overseeing import processes
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Planning, Production, and Chemistry
Tracking the status of open orders and addressing any discrepancies with suppliers and management
Analyzing market trends and understanding the target market to make informed purchasing decisions
Implementing ECO in logistics and commercial areas
Monitoring supplier performance (material purchases, shortages, and production planning)
Conducting COGS analysis
Requirements: BA degree (Logistics, Industrial Eng., Economics) - Must
Experience in global procurement and import processes - Must
At least seven years of purchasing experience - Must
Fluent English (verbal and written) - Must
Strong negotiation skills Must
Knowledge and hands-on experience in subcontracting management
Personal Skills
Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivation
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
