What Youll Do As a DPI Protocols Researcher, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) signatures and algorithms across Allots product suite.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Researching and developing identification algorithms for encrypted internet traffic.
* Investigating anonymizers, obfuscation techniques, and fraudulent applications.
* Developing automation tools and scripts to support research and analysis.
* Exploring new DPI technologies and adopting best practices for identifying encrypted traffic.
* Analyzing IoT and mobile traffic patterns to build accurate application signatures.

Requirements: What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience in network traffic analysis or DPI research.
* Strong understanding of network architectures and protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, HTTP, SSH, VOIP, DNS, VPNs, NAT).
* Motivated, creative problem-solver with strong self-learning capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
* Fluent English.
Preferred Qualifications:
* B.Sc./Student in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience with Python and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
* Background in network security research.
* Experience in mobile forensic investigation.
* Experience with reverse engineering.
* Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and applications.
* Knowledge of IoT protocols and technologies.
