The Product Line Leader Engineer is responsible for defining, maintaining, and continuously improving production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability. The role focuses on process ownership, implementation of engineering methodologies, and supporting stable production while enabling yield, cycle time, and cost improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain production processes, process flows, and work instructions.
Define and implement production engineering methodologies to improve quality, yield, and efficiency.
Provide daily engineering support to production lines, including hands-on troubleshooting.
Lead root cause analysis for process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle time optimization initiatives.
Requirements: BSc in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
3-5+ years of experience as a Production Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Production Engineering Methodologies
Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with Six Sigma tools and data -driven process improvement.
Hands-on use of SPC, control charts, and statistical analysis.
Experience performing PFMEA and defining control plans.
Familiarity with standard work, line balancing, and takt time concepts.
Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5W
Technical Skills
Ability to define and document production processes and specifications.
Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
