Junior System Administrator We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to join the IT team of a leading company in the construction and infrastructure industry. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional with hands-on support experience who is looking to take the next step into System Administration , gain exposure to hybrid environments, and work alongside an experienced System Administrator. What you’ll do:
* Provide day-to-day IT and system support and assist the Help Desk team with escalated technical issues
* Manage users, permissions, groups, and access in Active Directory and Entra ID
* Support and maintain Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments
* Assist with Intune device management
* Troubleshoot authentication, login, access, and connectivity issues
* Gain hands-on exposure to Azure environments
* Work with Microsoft Defender and additional security solutions
* Support virtual environments and backup solutions, including VMware and Veeam
* Assist with basic investigation of security-related incidents, such as suspicious emails
* Work closely with the Senior System Administrator and gradually take ownership of additional system responsibilities
* Participate in upcoming infrastructure and cloud migration projects
Requirements: * 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Junior System Administration
* Hands-on experience with Active Directory
* Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365
* Understanding of Windows environments, networking, permissions, and troubleshooting
* Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently, investigate issues, and learn new technologies
* Good communication and service-oriented approach Nice to have:
* Experience or familiarity with Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Microsoft Defender
* Familiarity with VMware
* Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam or Acronis
* Basic understanding of security solutions and Proxy environments
* CCNA / MCSA or other relevant IT certifications Position details: Ramat HaHayal, Tel Aviv 3 full days per week, 08:00–17:00, with flexibility in choosing the working days Initially a temporary, part-time position, with potential to develop into a permanent, full-time role
