A leading company in the development and production of Inertial Navigation Systems for the defense industry in Israel and International Markets, is growing and looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join us to lead and design mechanical systems for our cutting-edge products.
This is a hands-on role with end-to-end technical ownership of complex, multidisciplinary products - from requirements definition and concept development through qualification, production release, and ongoing product support.
You will work closely with Systems Engineering, Electronics, Optics, NPI, Production, and Quality, and serve as a technical interface with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
In this role, you will:
Lead mechanical development projects from system requirements and concept selection through detailed design, design reviews, prototype builds, verification, product release, and lifecycle support.
Design precision mechanical and optomechanical assemblies, rugged electronic enclosures, and interfaces for PCBs, connectors, cabling/fibers, seals, and thermal paths.
Develop solutions for vibration and shock environments while addressing strength, stiffness, thermal performance, sealing, EMI/EMC constraints, assembly, and serviceability.
Deliver 3D models, production drawings with GD&T, BOMs, interface drawings, specifications, test requirements, and engineering change documentation.
Select materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, fasteners, and commercial components; drive DFA, design-to-cost, reliability, and maintainability.
Support procurement, prototype assembly, system integration, environmental and qualification testing, and the resolution of production and field issues.

The Jerusalem Manufacturing Engineering function supports reliable, compliant, and efficient production of medical devices. The team partners with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other engineering functions to sustain manufacturing processes, introduce equipment, expand capacity, and drive continuous improvement. This position follows a hybrid work model, with onsite presence required to support manufacturing activities.
The Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for production processes and equipment. The role monitors process performance, leads equipment and capacity projects, investigates manufacturing failures, prepares and maintains engineering documentation, and ensures that processes comply with applicable medical-device manufacturing requirements. The successful candidate will help improve process stability, productivity, quality, and manufacturing readiness through data-driven problem solving and effective cross-functional collaboration.
This is a temporary, 9-month contract position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical process control and develop effective process-monitoring techniques
Lead small to medium projects for the selection, installation, qualification, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment
Investigate process and equipment failures using structured root-cause analysis and support nonconformance, corrective action, and preventive action activities
Create and maintain engineering change orders, work instructions, equipment files, validation protocols, and validation reports
Manage manufacturing equipment and capacity requirements in accordance with production demand. Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and quality-system requirements for medical devices
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to resolve production issues and implement sustainable improvements
Prioritize engineering deliverables based on business needs, project criticality, product quality, and production continuity.

DRS RADA Technologies , a defense company manufacturing life-saving radar systems, is looking for Technicians to join the Final Testing Department at our Beit She’an facility. The Final Testing Department is responsible for conducting final inspections of radar systems throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring their proper operation, performance, and compliance with technical requirements and specifications. The position includes performing a variety of electrical, functional, and environmental tests on radar systems, using advanced testing and measurement equipment. Job Description:
* Conduct final inspections and verify the proper operation of radar systems following completion of the manufacturing and integration processes.
* Perform calibration processes for radar systems in accordance with technical requirements and specifications.
* Conduct testing in Anechoic Chambers to evaluate radar performance under controlled conditions.
* Perform environmental tests simulating field conditions, including heat, cold, vibration, and varying environmental conditions.
* Operate testing equipment and systems, perform measurements, and analyze test results.
* Identify faults and deviations detected during testing, perform initial troubleshooting and analysis, and work with engineering and professional teams to resolve issues.
* Document test results in accordance with work procedures and quality requirements.
* Work according to defined testing procedures, engineering specifications, and stringent quality and reliability standards.
* Working hours: 8:00–17:00. Once a month, one night-shift week (20:00–6:00), including a weekend shift.
