About The Position
This role involves full responsibility for the company's purchasing, logistics, and warehouse processes, working closely with suppliers, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (purchasing, warehouse, suppliers, logistics), independent work, a systemic view, and strong decision-making skills in real time.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Purchasing and Supplier Managementף
Full responsibility for purchasing materials, equipment, and services required by the company.
Market research to identify leading suppliers and manufacturers.
Supplier evaluation: conducting due diligence, including assessment of technical capabilities, quality assurance, and compliance with relevant standards (ISO and others).
Ongoing work with both existing and new suppliers: managing contracts, terms, and negotiations.
Cost reduction and identification of efficient alternatives for purchasing.
Supply chain risk management, including creating emergency inventory and solving problems in real time.
Order Management and Tracking:
Creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system.
Collecting multiple quotes and negotiating with suppliers to achieve optimal terms.
Monitoring order status, coordinating logistics with suppliers, and resolving issues such as delays, shortages, or defects.
Generating weekly reports on progress, status, and timeline delays.
Logistics
Full responsibility for logistics, including shipment management and coordination with various stakeholders for on-time equipment delivery.
Handling supply chain issues and delays.
Staying updated on technological trends in hardware, computing, and electronics (EOL, EOS).
Warehouse Management:
Managing the warehouse and warehouse staff.
Planning preventive procurement to avoid shortages through inventory report analysis.
Receiving, processing, and dispatching shipments on time.
Close collaboration with the accounting department.

We are looking for a Procurement Buyer to join our team and support our global supply chain and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Manage raw material purchasing requirements for the production floor based on MRP recommendations.
Collaborate with suppliers in Israel and internationally.
Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, reschedules, and expedites.
Participate in negotiations with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Production.
Maintain and update procurement data, including lead times (LT), preferred suppliers, and forecast adjustments.
Update and maintain supplier price lists.
Handle supplier non-conformance reports until replacement or credit is received.
Manage ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and analyze their impact on procurement.
Resolve supplier invoices that do not match purchase orders.
Coordinate air and sea shipments for imported goods, focusing on cost-effective and efficient freight forwarding.
Monitor shortage reports and align supply plans with the production planning team for the next two months.

We are currently seeking applicants for a General & Spare Parts Buyer. Responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating and requesting price quotes. Additionally, the role involves providing service to factories, including production, planning, warehouse, engineers and department managers. The Buyer is also responsible for issuing and tracking orders, as well as addressing issues related to logistics, quality, and payments.
Job Location:
The company's Israeli headquarters is located in Petach Tikva in the Central District. It employs ~60 personnel who provide service and support to the company's 3 factories located in Dimona, Beer Sheva & Migdal Haemek, employing over 2,000 people.

What you will be doing:
Source, evaluate, and develop local and global suppliers, including identifying alternative supply options.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial terms while ensuring quality and supply continuity.
Serve as a key purchasing interface for multiple factory stakeholders, providing professional and responsive support.
Manage supplier communication, including price quotations, invoice approvals, and ongoing supplier relationships.
Issue and track purchase orders, coordinate logistics, and resolve supply chain issues throughout the PO lifecycle.
Travel to plant sites as required.
