We are looking for Automation QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the quality owner for the Orion system - ensuring every release meets the strictest performance, reliability, and safety requirements expected from a tactical‑grade navigation solution. You will work closely with algorithm developers, embedded engineers, system integrators, and field teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for the Orion system.
Build automation flows validating logic, algorithm performance, and sensor integration.
Run tests on simulated environments and physical devices.
Execute manual and automated tests across stress, performance, and environmental conditions.
Analyze logs, debug issues, and verify fixes.
Define and maintain QA procedures, regression plans, and verification matrices.
Contribute to CI/CD infrastructure and automation.
Collaborate with system integrators and field teams.
Collaborate with production team and develop automation testing flows also for product delivery testing (ATP).
Writing test documentation (STP / STD / STR) based on SRS / SRD
Designing and executing functional and system-level test cases
Performing System and Integration testing for software-hardware integrated systems

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Kefar Sava, Israel, reporting directly to the Software QA Team Leader. The engineer will own both manual and automated testing, work closely with software development teams, contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and help embed quality from day one.

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test solutions within CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end functional and regression scenarios.
Own manual and automated test execution and reporting within assigned Scrum teams, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing as part of sprint delivery.
Analyze test results and failure trends to provide actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to developers and stakeholders.
Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with developers to improve software testability throughout the development lifecycle.
Contribute to automation standards and testing best practices across Scrum teams.
Share automation capabilities and knowledge to align testing approaches across teams.

Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of automation.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
Develop automated tests using Python and pytest.
Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
Define automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability.
Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues.
Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews.
Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches, including AI-based testing and automation.
