We are looking for a Qualification & Compliance Engineer to own the qualification and regulatory-certification path of our networking hardware platforms - from design-for-compliance through pre-compliance testing, accredited-lab campaigns, and global market certification. You will combine solid theory in EMC, product safety and environmental engineering with strong hands-on lab capability, partnering with electrical, SI/PI, thermal-mechanical, firmware and product teams to bring products to market on time, on-spec, and certified across all target regions.
Requirements: Education: B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience: above 3 years in hardware qualification, EMC and/or regulatory compliance of electronic systems - ideally networking, telecom or high-speed digital products.
Theory: Working command of EMC fundamentals (emissions/immunity coupling, grounding, shielding, filtering) and product-safety principles under the 62368-1 hazard-based model.
Standards: Hands-on familiarity with EN 55032/CISPR 32, EN 55035, EN 61000-3-2/-3-3, the IEC 61000-4-x suite, FCC Part 15, ICES-003 and IEC/EN 62368-1.
Hands-on: Practical lab skill with spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, LISNs, antennas, ESD/EFT/surge generators, anechoic/semi-anechoic or GTEM setups, plus environmental chambers; able to set up, measure, debug and document.
Certification process: Experience running campaigns with NRTLs/accredited labs and compiling DoCs and technical files.
Soft skills: Rigorous, well-organized and detail-driven; strong cross-functional communication and clear technical reporting in English.
Advantages
Direct experience certifying for CE/UKCA, FCC, and Asia-Pacific schemes (VCCI, BSMI, RCM, KCC).
Familiarity with SI/PI concepts and high-speed (100G/400G/800G) interconnect, and how design choices drive EMC behavior.
Exposure to reliability engineering (HALT/HASS, MTBF), thermal characterization, and DFx.
Knowledge of EU directives (LVD, EMC, RoHS/RoHS 3, WEEE) and environmental compliance (REACH, conflict minerals).
Scripting/data-analysis skills (Python/MATLAB) for automating measurement post-processing.
This position is open to all candidates.
