In this pivotal position, the DevOps & Platform Engineering Team Lead will take charge of ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of the company's cloud platform. This role involves leading a small, high-impact team of DevOps and platform engineers - combining deep infrastructure ownership with platform thinking - building self-service tools and infrastructure that enable R&D teams to move fast and independently.
As part of your role, you will:
Team Leadership & Growth - Mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and build a high-trust collaborative team.
Leverage AI to accelerate development and delivery - leverage industry leading tools and our companys agentic concepts to speed up development and operational workflows.
Operational Excellence - Set high standards for code quality, monitoring, and incident response; ensure systems are robust and secure.
Technical Direction - Guide architectural decisions, balancing immediate product needs with long-term scalability.
Enable Autonomous Execution - Build self-service platforms (GitOps, observability, cost dashboards) so product teams deploy and monitor independently.
Stay Hands-On - 60%+ of your time is hands-on: lead architecture reviews, debug critical incidents, and mentor through code and config reviews - you're a player-coach.

We are hiring aa hands-on DevOps Team Leader to to join our global R&D organization

to lead and mentor a global team of DevOps engineers (local and abroad).

This role combines strong technical execution with people leadership and operational ownership.

The DevOps Team Leader will drive automation, reliability, scalability, and security across cloud and CI/CD platforms

while working closely with development, QA and architecture teams.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage local and global DevOps team of engineers.
Set priorities, goals, and execution plans aligned with group objectives.
Conduct task planning, execution, and delivery tracking.
Mentor and grow team members technically and professionally.
Perform code and design reviews.
Act as a senior hands-on contributor in DevOps activities (not only managerial).
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Lead cloud infrastructure design and operations (AWS/Azure/GCP environments).
Own infrastructure as code (Terraform).
Lead Kubernetes and container platform operations and improvements

DevOps Management
Architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Own CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi).
Define and enforce SLOs/SLAs with an SRE mindset.
Manage monitoring, alerting, and incidents.
Promote Kubernetes and scalable micro-services practices.

SecOps & FinOps
Support implementation of security best practices across cloud and CI/CD environments in collaboration with Security stakeholders.
Participate in security incident response processes when relevant.
Own cloud cost visibility and optimization processes, including tagging, monitoring, and ongoing efficiency improvements.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery.
Enforce cost-efficiency policies and guardrails.

People & Process Management
Manage and develop DevOps team.
Establish and improve operational processes to support engineering delivery and production readiness.
Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Provide operational metrics and updates to engineering leadership.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our DevOps team and serve as a key technical authority across customer engagements and internal initiatives. This role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and architectural thinking, with a strong focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud solutions.
You will act as a trusted partner to the Team Lead, driving technical direction, solving complex challenges, and helping the team adopt modern technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical authority for complex challenges and architectural decisions, owning the technical direction across customer engagements and internal projects
Take strong ownership of technical outcomes and drive end-to-end implementation of cloud solutions, from design to production readiness
Define and enforce best practices, standards, and validation processes, leading technical reviews and knowledge sharing across the team
