This role is ideal for a hands‑on who thrives on multidisciplinary problem‑solving, system bring‑up and driving features from early integration through customer delivery and troubleshooting.
What you'll do
Lead system integration activities between LiDAR and peripherals modules, from initial bring‑up through validation and customer deployment.
Integrate various hardware modules, firmware, software, tools and algorithms into a unified system, ensuring seamless functionality across disciplines, with particular emphasis on interfaces and communication protocols.
Plan and execute (hands on) system‑level integration tests, debug complex issues, and drive root‑cause analysis with cross‑functional teams.
Develop and maintain integration workflows, test setups, and automation tools to accelerate development and validation.
Collaborate on requirements refinement, system architecture discussions, and design reviews to ensure integration readiness.
Build Python‑based tools for data analysis, test automation, and rapid prototyping to support integration and characterization activities.

About The Position
We are developing state-of-the-art LiDAR sensors for the automotive industry. The Lidar platform group is responsible for developing high-performance, multidisciplinary Lidar platforms. We are looking for a System Integration Engineer to join our great team! Our work spans optical, mechanical, electronic, and software domains, from concept through production. We collaborate closely with product, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, scalable, and manufacturable solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in system integration activities across hardware and software domains.
Define and execute integration test plans and validation procedures.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure.
Work on wireless power transfer systems integration and validation.
Integrate and validate high-speed wireless optical communication links (1 Gbps Ethernet).
Develop and integrate motion control systems as part of the LiDAR platform.
Identify, debug, and resolve cross-disciplinary integration issues.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary R&D teams to ensure seamless system-level performance.

We are looking for a talented ATE System Engineer. In this role you will play a key role in shaping and operating these advanced platforms, working closely with the other R&D teams to develop, integrate, and optimize the next generation of automated test and calibration systems for LiDARs.
What you'll do
Take end-to-end responsibility for calibration and automated testing of critical LiDAR features, including development, validation, and troubleshooting.
Serve as a focal point for other R&D groups in your domain of expertise.
Develop, implement, and validate calibration and test scripts using Python.
Support the design and development of next-generation ATE systems for high-volume LiDAR production.

About the Role:

The wireless system engineer is a key position in a multidisciplinary R&D organization and acts as a technical lead for all matters related to wireless system design in new and existing products.

In this role you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for defining the architecture of a product, targeted to the Wireless Backhaul Market for 5G deployments.

Understand and analyze customer needs and market trends.

Define hardware, firmware and software requirements while supporting other R&D and Engineering teams, during all project phases.

Support field trials, customer challenges and production processes.
