In this role you will:
Be a part of a leading Algorithm team responsible for developing Radio core technologies for innovative wireless communication products.

The primary purpose of the position is to work closely with customers, and sales team to manage the technical engagement that supports sales campaigns and drive the adoption of our company EDA Calibre software tools.
Responsibilities -
To develop close relationships with customers to be able to assess their technical requirements and the options/ability for our company EDA's Calibre solutions to develop and implement technical sales plans. This may be through proactive telephone contact, delivery of presentations and demonstrations, articulating product value statements, and engagement in technical benchmarks and evaluations.
To drive products into customer projects to ensure adoption by creating methodology and flows; this may include infrastructure and integration into a customers environment and the identification of pilot projects for tool use and the debugging and bring-up of new methodologies and flows.
To uncover or qualify new opportunities, the technical viability of a lead and communicate the opportunity clearly to the sales team. Use this information to establish success criteria for technical engagements that effectively position our company EDA areas of strength.
To provide technical leadership on all aspects of a sales campaign with the aim of contributing to account/area technical business plans.
To share, in a proactive manner, account, evaluation, competitor, technology and other useful information with peers, sales teams, management and product divisions to help us to compete more effectively.
To actively participate in out-bound marketing such as trade shows, workshops, seminars, webcasts.

our company Mobility Rail Division has an immediate opening for an Electrical Architect position at their Sacramento, California Facility. The candidate will have responsibility for all aspects of the Electrical Design of his/her assigned Light Rail project(s) and will work among others on integrating complex designs involving high voltage applications, safety systems & modern communication and video surveillance systems.
We are looking for professionals with the drive to work in the high paced rail industry to build new and innovative designs for our future vehicles.
In this role as a member of the Electrical Architecture group you will guide the development of electrical schematics and harnessing by interpreting requirements from the customer contract or industry standards into concepts for the designers and design review documentation for the customers. This may apply to a variety of vehicle designs and requires good understanding of electrical fundamentals and creativity to come up with entirely new solutions. Must be detail oriented and take ownership of projects to see them through the production and testing phase.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Lead and present solutions for electrical integration of Light Rail projects, ensuring alignment with schedules and industry standards.
Represent the Electrical Integration group in customer meetings and coordination calls.
Collaborate with mechanical architects, technical managers, and system architects to define vehicle designs for projects.
Guide the development and review of electrical circuit diagrams and supplier documentation.
Select electrical components using vendor catalogs, perform calculations, and specify parameters as needed.
Plan, schedule, and track design work packages, providing updates to management on progress.
Drive continuous improvement of Light Rail platforms in coordination with platform managers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety, EMI, and component sizing requirements, work mainly on-site with some remote flexibility.
