what you'll be doing:
you will be part of a small and exclusive micro-architecture team and have the opportunity to make a real impact in designing the micro-architecture of the next generation state of the art network card hand in hand with the product architect making sure implementation meets the product goals.
work closely with architecture and design teams to thoroughly understand system requirements and identify micro-architecture solutions, while weighing trade-offs related to performance, area and power consumption
break high-level arch requirements into lower-level design building blocks. focal point for the design team, reviewing implementation and guiding the team.
find bottlenecks early in the development cycle using performance analysis and simulations
use your understanding of the entire chip and system to identify and debug pre and post silicon full-chip issues

The Networking Advanced Development Software team develops new groundbreaking technologies to enable new market shares for the company and tighten customer relationships. These are emerging technologies in networking and distributed computing for the booming AI factories and data centers. They span areas such as AI neural networks, Deep Learning, High Performance Computing (HPC), Storage, Cloud, SW Defined Network, Network Function Virtualization and more. we are hiring a skilled senior dpu performance Validation engineer for our dpu product lines. this includes chip architecture performance characterization, debug, and validation across single-die and multi-die systems. working in the network silicon engineering group, you will be responsible for debugging, analyzing, and validating performance and functional behavior of current and future silicon devices. you will collaborate with chip design, verification, fw, and architecture teams to ensure successful product development with bold product cycles. the qualified candidate should be comfortable working in simulation and emulation environments, with strong skills in rtl-level debug, waveform analysis, and system -level performance root cause analysis.
