Required QA Automation Engineer
The QA Automation Engineer will help to continuously improve the quality, reliability and end-user experience of various solutions delivered by our development team. Also, you will help efficiently deliver high-quality solutions to end users through the use of modern quality methodologies and test automation technologies combined with a streamlined release process. The individual must be forward-thinking and share in a common vision of quality, integrity and efficiency.
Responsibilities;
Define, write, maintain & perform manual & automated tests of multiple APIs, UIs & Web services for functionality, correctness and reliability
Maintain, expand and create automation solutions
Create, maintain and execute test, bug, story & other sprint board items in Azure DevOps
Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements to devise Test cases/Test scenarios that fully meets the testing scope to satisfy business/user/system requirements
Ensure prerequisites for testing are fully prepared, test data and test environment setup/configurations
Identify and log bugs during the Software Development life cycle till release to Production
Perform root cause analysis of the bugs and collaborate with the development team to resolve and test them
Work closely with the Support team to investigate and test customer and/or production issues.
Work with your lead on improving QA processes and practices and adhering to them to ensure that quality assurance standards are met.

We are looking for a QA Data Automation Engineer to join our Data Team in a dynamic and challenging role, providing critical test coverage for Orcas data pipelines, reporting layers, and analytics solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for validating data integrity end-to-end - from raw ingestion and transformation layers to dashboards and downstream consumers. You will design and maintain automated tests to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated QA tests for data pipelines, transformations, and data products.
Perform and execute manual QA testing such as functional, regression, and sanity testing of applications, dashboards, and backend systems.
Validate data flow across the system, including: ingestion, transformations, reports/dashboards.
Perform data quality testing (completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, schema validation).
Write and execute SQL-based tests to validate logic, joins, aggregations, metrics, and anomalies.
Build automation frameworks and validation scripts using Python.
Work closely with Data Engineers and Analytics/BI stakeholders to define test coverage and acceptance criteria.
Investigate failures and data issues, providing clear RCA and actionable bug reports.
Document test plans, test scenarios, expected results, and automation coverage.
Track issues in Jira, including reproducible steps and supporting evidence.
Continuously improve QA processes for better monitoring, reliability, and faster releases.

What Youll Do:
Architect the Cypress E2E Framework: Design, build, and scale a robust, high-performance end-to-end automation framework using Cypress to validate our core web application workflows, ensuring the complex UI accurately reflects the autonomous decisions made by our AI agents.
Validate Autonomous Logic via the UI: Develop sophisticated test harnesses within Cypress that interact with the application and perform data validation (e.g., intercepting network requests) to verify the intricate decision-making, cost optimization, and safety constraints of our self-governing AI agents.
Drive CI/CD Velocity: Take ownership of the testing lifecycle by integrating fast-running, automated Cypress tests directly into our CI/CD pipelines, serving as the final, reliable gate that allows the engineering team to deploy multiple times daily with zero functional regressions.
Performance and API Testing: Utilize Cypress's capabilities for API-level testing to quickly validate backend microservices, augmenting UI tests where necessary to maintain speed and reliability.
Contribute to Engineering Culture: Champion best practices in testability, reliability, observability, and code coverage, mentoring fellow engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence across the platform.
Solve Unique Problems: Apply deep technical expertise and creativity to address novel testing challenges related to LLMs, such as ensuring the AI-generated UI flows are robust and predictable.
