Our HW team in Israel is looking for a Practical Hardware Test Engineer to join the Hardware Switch Group. The team leads the development of networking infrastructure for our next-generation data centers focusing on accelerated performance while enabling optimized end to end GPU connectivity. We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Practical Engineer with strong lab skills, who enjoys working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

What you'll be doing:

Be the group labs manager.

Support the group for logistics, issue and follow up purchase orders.

Perform hands-on board bring-up, validation, debugging activities in the lab, document test results, and communicate findings clearly to engineering teams.

Operate lab equipment in the time and frequency domains.

Support hardware investigations by reading schematics, analyzing layouts, and completing test procedures.

what youll be doing:
one responsibility of this position will be handling various types of testing of nvidia ics.
perform ic testing in order to produce reliable and precise data to support ic devices analysis.
maintaining and operating laboratory equipment such as ic evaluation systems, htol system, scopes, dvms and another tooling.
reading schematics of electronic circuits.
support all related activities such as iqc, oqc, ic inventory managing and shipments.
carrying out q&r tasks and following strict execution methodologies.
following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.

what you'll be doing:
support and develop solutions that will improve the efficiency and quality of the mixed-signal group.
define, develop, and maintain in-house, along with industrial utilities, solutions for schematic, layout, package and physical-verification in the fields of costume and eda vendor tools (cadence virtuoso, mentor calibre, synopsys icv and more), environment, and general-purpose solutions.
write, customize and debug icv/calibre runsets of drc, lvs, ext.
skill coding including pcells development.
scripting and programing for ad-hoc solutions and wide tasks solutions.
work closely with nvidias world-wide mixed-signal and technology teams.
