We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms across cloud (Azure AKS) and on-premises (Red Hat OpenShift) environments. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, highly available, and scalable production systems supporting mission-critical workloads across multiple geographic regions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, automation-driven, and experienced in production Kubernetes operations, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD platforms, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Design, deploy, and operate production Kubernetes clusters (Azure AKS and Red Hat OpenShift)
* Own the end-to-end platform lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and hardening
* Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
* Design and operate CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tooling
* Manage Kubernetes application deployments using Helm and Git-based workflows
* Ensure platform observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK
* Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements
* Define and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and SLA-driven workflows
* Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams across regions
* Design, deploy, and operate production-grade databases within Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in at least two of the following technologies:
* PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Prometheus
* Understanding of networking and Security
Requirements: * 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
* Proven experience operating Kubernetes in production
* Hands-on experience with Azure AKS and Red Hat OpenShift
* Strong experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
* CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows
* Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps patterns
* Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
* Solid understanding of security fundamentals: RBAC, secrets management, TLS, IAM
* Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
* Experience supporting multi-region or regulated production environments Nice to Have
* Experience managing JFrog Artifactory
* Exposure to AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM)
* Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management
* Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, NERC-CIP)
* B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field - an advantage
