Carrar is seeking a highly skilled Thermal Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize thermal management solutions across our products and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capability, hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools, and a solid understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and materials.
Location: Sderot, Israel (on-site, full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop thermal management systems, including cooling architectures, heat exchangers, and thermal interfaces.
Perform detailed thermal simulations (CFD, FEA) to predict temperature distribution, heat flow, and performance under various operating conditions.
Conduct experimental testing and validation of thermal components using lab equipment such as thermal chambers, calorimeters, sensors, and DAQ systems.
Requirements: Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in R&D thermal management roles.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
Experience with thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS Icepak, Fluent, COMSOL, FloTHERM, or similar.
Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, etc.).
Knowledge of thermal testing equipment and techniques.
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical system requirements and convert them into thermal
constraints.
