mPrest Energy is looking for an experienced Software System Engineer (Technical Product Manager) to join our team. We are a global leader in developing advanced DERMS solutions, enabling utilities to manage, optimize, and control distributed energy resources such as solar PV, energy storage, and other smart grid technologies. We are looking for a seasoned engineer to join our talented system engineering department. As a system engineer you will be leading complex, multidisciplinary projects as a the technical owner, processing the customer needs and values into system specifications and requirements, overview the development and chair the acceptance processes.

Responsibilities:
•Customer Liaison. • Analysis of customer needs and requirements. • Identification of internal Project’s Specifications and requirements. • Ability to lead and manage sub-contractors, including contractual engagements and procurement supervision. • Ability to lead a team of engineers, including the management of work plans and delivery schedules. • Ability to create effective and deployable solutions to complex engineering challenges. • Preparing, Leading and participating in Design Reviews and contractual engagements activities. • Leading acceptance and delivery processes with multiple entities, domestically and abroad. • Reporting to the Software Team Lead.

In this key role, youll debug and implement solutions for complex customer problems, design tools and environments for debugging and supportability, and serve as the technical bridge between our engineering and delivery teams.



Responsibilities


Serve as the primary engineering contact for critical customer escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of complex technical issues.
Debug, reproduce, and implement solutions for problems reported in customer environments.
Build and maintain advanced test setups that simulate real-world customer scenarios.
Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and network traces to identify root causes and drive permanent fixes.
Collaborate closely with R&D to improve product supportability and overall reliability.
Provide technical leadership and consulting to field engineers, delivery teams, and customers during escalations and product rollouts.
Document findings, create technical knowledge articles, and contribute to internal tools and processes for continuous improvement.
Lead post-incident reviews (RCA) and communicate insights to engineering and support stakeholders.
Continuously expand knowledge of CTERAs products, storage protocols (SMB/NFS), file systems, and network topologies.
