As a our Systems Engineer, you will research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions that enables the development of cutting-edge technology. our Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.
This position will be 5 days per week office based.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Leverages advanced Systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.
Performs complex functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to define and align with standards for hardware and software.
Develops and analyzes complex system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management teams, engineering teams, etc.) to complete project work, including implementing and verifying the system.
Develops algorithms and works on new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area.
Drives triage of complex problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements: Level of Responsibility:
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.
Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.
Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.
Tasks do not have defined steps; planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (advantage).
8+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience (advantage).
