We are looking for a hands-on backend team lead to join our team and make a real impact in our Jerusalem R&D department! As a backend team lead, your mission will be to lead a team of software engineers toward the development of exciting new products while staying close to the ground with hands-on coding. You will influence the team's technical direction as well as onboard, mentor, and manage talented developers. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the full development life cycle, including design, architecture, and collaboration with product stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable code using agile methodologies. We seek someone extremely technical with leadership experience who loves to solve interesting tech challenges, can see the big picture, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership paired with excellent communication skills. This position will be based out of our Jerusalem hub and will report to the VP of R&D.

What you will be responsible for:

* Break down and plan tasks, including high-level design
* Run team sync meetings to identify blockers and communicate cross-team
* Own tech decisions and initiate decision-making discussions
* Management: onboard, mentor and manage team members HR aspects (time off, 1:1, plan and evaluate employee growth, etc.)
* Hands-on development (~30%)
* Monitor the system 's stability
* Develop high-level estimations for all work items
* Manage the Jira board and inter-team communication
* Push for shipping high-quality products on time
* Own relevant repos, codebase, CI/CD pipeline, and DevOps of the teams infrastructure
* Update, upgrade, monitor, and replace 3rd party libs

You will:
Support our enterprise-level clients and internal departments with technical onboarding and integration to our systems.
Provide continuous technical support, including troubleshooting, investigating error messages, solving coding issues, and addressing errors related to system updates.
Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Development, IT, Implementations, Operations, and Relationship Management.
Work closely with teams in the US (East to West Coast).

we are seeking a highly technical and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead the Development Infrastructure Group, a team of over 180 engineers, project/product managers, and support engineers. This role is responsible for the architecture, development, and operational excellence of our companys core infrastructure that powers big data processing, high-performance cloud computing, and large-scale re-simulation for autonomous vehicle development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering, distributed systems, cloud computing, and data engineering, along with a proven ability to manage large teams and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
What your job will look like;
Provide technical vision and strategic direction for all three infrastructure domains.
Participate in design and architecture discussions, ensuring technical trade-offs align with business goals.
Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure best practices in software development.
Interface with top management, internal stakeholders, and external customers, advocating for infrastructure improvements and driving adoption of advanced technologies.
Identify and implement best practices in CI/CD, observability, security, and automation.
Architect and manage high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure for large-scale machine learning training and validation workloads.
Lead the development of internal cloud services and SaaS solutions that enable our companys customers to access essential tools and applications.
Ensure efficient use of Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Terraform, and cloud-based GPU computing (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Oversee the development of real-time simulation platforms for autonomous vehicle testing and enable the simulation of thousands of hours of drives in offline environments.
Guide engineering efforts in low-level, high-performance software development, data center software optimization, and parallel computing.
Oversee the development of end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to access by internal and external customers.
Define and optimize data models for cataloging and data lakes.
Drive the use of Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Parquet, and Delta Lake for efficient data processing and storage.
