We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer who will join our mechanical team and be responsible for designing and maintaining our new and current products, focused on consumable wearable products.

The Mechanical Engineer will work on exciting projects to support our expanding portfolio of products related to our cancer treatment device from concept all the way through manufacturing, taking into consideration quality, regulation, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing feasibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:.
PCB and PCBA design for HW engineering.
Multidisciplinary products.
Customized design and consideration of manufacturability as part of the design.
Rigorous analyses of designs using appropriate methods such as FEA and dimensional tolerance analysis.
Consider automated production requirements as part of the design.
Evaluate requirements and determine mechanical requirements for the design and development of consumables.
Drive component and integration testing to verify that prototypes and production components/constructs meet design intent.
Assess requirements and set the mechanical requirements for the design and development of consumables.
Provide the data for a full production file (3D files, drawings of mechanical parts, assembly drawings and instructions, BOM).
Contact and manage suppliers and subcontractors for manufacturing.
Liaising with suppliers and production sub-contractors.
Conduct relevant research.
Producing and implementing designs and test procedures.
Perform the actual testing, evaluating, measuring, modifying, and re-testing of the design.
Generate test reports and documentation.

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician who will join the mechanical engineering team, and be responsible for supporting the mechanical development of innovative medical devices and related applications.

The job holder will be involved in the product life cycle and support the design team through the life cycle.

Full-time position at our R&D center, Haifa, Israel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting an engineering team for the design development, assembly, and testing of our devices and subsystems.
Responsible for manufacturing and assembling prototypes of wearable products, and cutting and assembling soft materials.
Testing electrodes for internal experiments.
Supporting mechanical products in our systems.
Perform in collaboration with the cross-functional development team to ensure that the system meets operational requirements.
Perform practical bench testing and debugging of the mechanical design.
Transferring feedback to the production of the devices.
Assembling prototypes of our devices in design and development.
Assisting in the verification and validation process of the devices.
Compliance with the design control process.
Collaborate with other team members, engineers, managers and product management teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs.
Responsible for the laboratory environment and equipment, and laboratory safety.
Supporting test equipment calibration.

We are searching for an outstanding Senior Manager to lead Production Infrastructure Equipment and engineering lab activities. As a Production Equipment manager, you'll work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary group, with our global integrated circuits final test and wafer sort mass production activities at worldwide lead test houses located at the Far East and at worldwide labs located mainly in Israel. At this position youll be working with worldwide infrastructure support vendors, contract manufacturers, internal engineering, and production groups to ensure excellent standards of manufacturability, yield improvement, and maximize throughput, efficiency, and equipment utilization.

What you'll be doing:

Manage 10-15 engineers.

Manage all our equipment and H/W at Far East contractors.

New equipment installation & acceptance.

Improve existing equipment up time.

Collaborating with equipment vendors and with our internal operational teams.

Handle infrastructure production stability to enable test house activities with maximal utilization.

Be a key part of Manufacturing Engineering team, collaborating with Contract manufacturers, internal engineering groups to handle global test production lines equipment activities.

Defining maintenance, routines, and monitoring processes and implementation on production lines.

Establish, train, and maintain a robust production infrastructure support process to enable test manufacturing full independence.

As Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for the end-to- end manufacturing processes of CT detectors in the clean room environment, maintaining efficiency, reducing costs, improving sustainability, and maximizing profitability through tools and equipment of the manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in Haifas detection center, overseeing both established and new assembly processes and driving initiatives for manufacturing process optimization

Responsibilities:
Monitoring both automated and manual assembly processes in clean room environment
Support line-downs and troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes
Initiating and overseeing process technology development activities
Accountable for process and manufacturing requirements based on Product Specifications
Provides active inputs on improving the manufacturability of new products at the release stage.
Identifying, designing, implementing and validating manufacturing processes, tools and equipment enabling quality and efficiency.
Preparation & Release of Work instruction, PFMEA, Process validation docs etc.
Executing processes with compliance to safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.
