Proceed is hiring a backend Developer - Document Processing Cloud Infrastructure.
Were looking for an autonomous backend Developer to join the development of an enterprise workflow automation platform, combining backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines and end-to-end ownership.
In this role, youll develop microservices and APIs using TypeScript / Node.js and Python, work with GCP and AWS infrastructure including Cloud Run and managed services, design event-driven pipelines with Pub/Sub, EventArc and Airflow DAGs, and work with PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery and Prisma.
Youll also be involved in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CI/CD processes, Docker-based deployments, containerized environments, occasional React updates for internal admin tools, and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot.
Requirements: Requirements:
4-6 years of hands-on backend experience with Python and/or TypeScript / Node.js
Experience with GCP or AWS, including managed services, IAM, networking and serverless containers
Understanding of Docker, containers, CI/CD and deployments
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery and Prisma
Ability to own features end-to-end, from database design to deployment
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot
Basic React knowledge for admin tools
Strong advantages:
Event-driven or queue-based architectures, including Pub/Sub, Redis queues and dead-letter patterns
Familiarity with Fastify, FastAPI, Turborepo, npm workspaces, Terraform or Pulumi
Database design skills, including migrations, Prisma or SQLAlchemy
Background in document processing, financial data or multi-tenant SaaS
