Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of ATE systems across multiple projects and production lines. Manage ATE projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, design reviews, gate approvals, scheduling, and presentations. Oversee tester bring-up, integration of mechanical, electronic, Embedded, and software components. Coordinate activities with hardware, software, Embedded, mechanical teams, and external subcontractors. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated outsourced ATE Engineer to join the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) team. This contractual role is critical in the design, development, integration, validation, and handover of a new Automated Test Equipment (ATE) system. The contractor will work closely with MSD R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and approved subcontractors to deliver a production-ready tester and full documentation package.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead design, integration, and bring-up of ATE systems (hardware, fixtures, instruments, and software).
* Develop and maintain test sequences using TestStand or equivalent and implement automation scripts (Python, C#, etc.).
* Create and maintain BOMs, wiring diagrams, test procedures, validation reports, and user/maintenance documentation.
* Troubleshoot ATE systems in production; provide Tier 2 support, calibration, and yield-improvement activities.
* Execute validation and verification activities and document results for stakeholder approval.
