Our R D division is looking for a Computer Systems Engineer to design, optimize, and scale the advanced computing infrastructure that powers our next-generation systems. This is an R D engineering role focused on system architecture, performance engineering, and high-throughput computing - not an IT support or helpdesk position. You'll work alongside hardware and software R D teams to push the performance, reliability, and scalability of the compute platforms behind our products.
Description
Architect, analyze, and optimize computing system designs - CPUs, GPUs, memory, Storage, and networking - for R D compute environments.
Design and tune high-performance computing (HPC) and Embedded system architectures (advantage).
Engineer and support Windows and Linux environments as part of R D infrastructure, including virtualization platforms.
Requirements: Strong grounding in computer systems architecture - CPU, GPU, memory, Storage, and networking design - Must
Hands-on experience with Windows Linux systems engineering - Must
Experience with virtualization technologies - Must
Scripting/programming proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python, C #, or similar) - Must
Solid understanding of networking protocols and security architecture - Must
Background in high-performance computing or Embedded systems - advantage
Experience leading system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance planning
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and system architecture diagrams
Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills for complex system -level issues
Comfort working under pressure on critical infrastructure problems
Strong collaboration skills across engineering disciplines
Excellent written and verbal communication
