we are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join the Infrastructure Cloud team. This role combines regular network management with modern automation tools and methods. The ideal candidate is hands-on, understands network security methodology, has excellent interpersonal skills, is a team player, and feels comfortable working in both cloud and on-prem environments.
This position includes participation in on-call shifts.
We are located in Herzliya and work in a hybrid work mode.
What will you do?
Work with other teams to design and implement network solutions.
Maintain and upgrade cloud and on-prem network systems, and troubleshoot issues (e.g., TCP timeouts).
Provide technical support based on incoming tickets and monitoring alerts, such as service degradation or loss of communication.
Manage firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, cloud-based routing service, and segmentation across production and corporate environments
Work with Panorama Palo Alto firewalls (policies, NAT, decryption, VPNs, routing) and F5 BIG-IP LTM and iRules.
Manage secure and reliable connectivity solutions for branch offices, site-to-site VPNs, and remote users.
Support network operations in a PCI/DSS-compliant environment, including logging, auditing, and SIEM integration
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on technical support and infrastructure enhancements.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Take part in on-call rotation and help handle network issues and outages when they occur.
Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, NAT) and good knowledge of the Application layer in the TCP/IP model.
1+ years of experience working with Panorama / Palo Alto firewalls and F5 BIG-IP (LTM, iRules).
Practical experience with packet capture and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Experience in cloud environments (AWS or OCI).
Familiar with network security best practices and compliance standards like PCI/DSS, including DDoS and WAF protection, and HTTP security.
Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work well across teams
