We are looking for an experienced Business Applications Manager to lead the team responsible for the companys business application systems. This role will manage global projects, maintain vendor relationships, ensure compliance, and drive innovation to optimize business operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, business units and IT teams to streamline processes and enhance global efficiency.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Lead and manage the business applications team, ensuring the smooth implementation, support, and performance of enterprise applications.
Lead business application projects to ensure they meet company goals, stay on schedule, within budget, and are delivered successfully.
Manage vendor relationships, software licenses, ensuring optimal cost and service delivery.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of enterprise applications such as Agile, HCM, Atlassian suite, DocuSign, MS suite.
Establish IT governance frameworks, ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, PII), and manage IT risks related to business applications.
Develop strategies and execute plans for improving or leveraging existing systems.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI and other technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and enhance business application functionality to support their goals.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, budget, compliance, and performance metrics.
Ensure alignment of IT strategies and project and policies across regions, driving consistency and supporting global business objectives.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
At least 4 years of team leadership experience.
Significant experience managing business applications or leading IT projects, with expertise in enterprise applications like HCM, Agile, Atlassian Suite, DocuSign, MS suite, BI.
Experience in ALM Atlassian and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Advantage
Knowledge of IT governance, compliance (GDPR, PI), and IT General Controls (ITGC) - Advantage
Experience in PLM Agile - Advantage
