As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a tight-knit, dynamic team of engineers who take pride in high coding standards and modern development practices. You will own one of our company's impactful, user-facing product areas, making strategic decisions, enhancing workflows, and supporting your team members.
Using technologies such as React, Node.js, AWS, and scalable databases, you will build a unique experience in the world of B2B payments.
Each team member is an all-around player who influences the product from the overall experience to development, and you will be no different. You should be passionate about building a product end-to-end, overseeing the UX, design, coding, testing, and deployment phases.
How your day is going to look, what you will be doing?
Lead a team of full stack engineers while doing hands-on technical work.
Set goals, define tasks and manage timelines to execute a roadmap.
Work closely with Product and Design on new user-facing features.
Take an active role in hiring for your team and our company in general.

We're growing fast and looking for an experienced and passionate senior leader to head our Application Engineering groups. This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of our cutting-edge SaaS platform, purpose-built for enterprise clients in the financial services sector.
As VP of Application Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture, roadmap, and practices of our core platform. Youll help steer the evolution of our SaaS solution to meet the needs of enterprise customers, while building the technical and organizational foundations for scale. In addition to guiding development priorities, youll foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the application teams.
This role reports directly to the CTO and is part of FundGuards leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end development of our application layer, which integrates big data technologies and a distributed services architecture built for scale and resilience.
Lead and inspire a growing organization of ~80 engineers, building a strong engineering culture focused on quality, agility, and impact.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions by collaborating closely with R&D leadership, Product, and Customer Success teams (across Tel Aviv and the U.S.).
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery across multiple product areas, features, and customer initiatives.
Continuously evolve engineering practices, organizational structure, and team capabilities to support FundGuards rapid growth.

This role will require you to be responsible for the professional and personal development of your team. Youll lead the technological strategy, build the tech agenda, work closely with the Product team, and drive your squad to be accountable owners of their work as they meet company business goals.
