* Establish, build, and lead the V&V team from the ground up, including defining methodologies, processes, and best practices
* Manage and mentor a small and growing team of V&V engineers
* Lead end to end, comprehensive verification and validation activities for multidisciplinary medical devices, combining technologies such as laser, RF, ultrasound, and physics-based systems
*  Define, author, and execute rigorous TEST strategies, validation plans, and protocols for complex systems
* Ensure full compliance with medical device regulatory standards, including documentation, traceability, and validation processes
* Partner closely with matrixed cross-functional teams including Mechanics, Hardware, Software, system Engineering, Regulatory, Clinical and Quality
* Drive continuous improvement of TEST methodologies, modern tools, and automation capabilities
* Support end-to-end product lifecycle activities including design verification, system validation, and post-market activities.
* Partner with Operations and NPI (New Product Introduction) groups to ensure seamless transfer from design verification to manufacturing line validation
* Manage relationships and scheduling with External Certified TEST Houses for safety, EMC, and environmental compliance testing

* Lead and manage the System Engineering team, providing strong technical authority over complex, multidisciplinary product integration (Laser, RF, Ultrasound, Hardware, Software).
*  Drive System-Level Architecture and technical baseline definition, successfully translating PRD & MRD inputs into clear, testable System Requirements Specifications (SRS).
* Own the full system risk management lifecycle (ISO 14971), executing comprehensive cross-disciplinary hazard analyses (FMEA/FTA).

You will be the primary operations owner for our Automated Test Equipment (ATE). In this critical role, you will lead the transfer, optimization, and daily efficiency of ATE systems on the production line and for RMA processes, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and manufacturing standards.

What you will be doing:

ATE Transfer & Implementation: Lead the seamless transfer and integration of ATE systems from development into the mass production line, taking full end-to-end responsibility for the project.
Production & RMA Efficiency: Take absolute ownership of ATE performance. Drive continuous efficiency improvements, optimize test times, and streamline processes for both active production lines and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) units.
Test Infrastructure: Set up, install, validate, and maintain ATE test stations and infrastructure directly on the production floor.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with ATE development, Hardware (HW), and R&D teams to support manufacturing operations and resolve complex test-related bottlenecks.
Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze ATE test data and yield metrics to proactively identify process improvements, increase throughput, and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
Technical Troubleshooting: Read, interpret, and analyze electrical schematics and technical data sheets to oversee production test processes and ensure adherence to standard specifications.

Lead R&D lab operations supporting large-scale broadband and networking environments.

Your Impact:

The Physical Design team within Silicon One owns backend methodology and flow development from RTL to GDS. The team plays a critical role in developing high-quality VLSI designs for some of our most advanced silicon products.
We work with the latest silicon technologies and processes to build large-scale, complex devices that push the boundaries of feasibility. You will collaborate with experienced engineers across architecture, design, verification, and implementation to deliver high-performance silicon.
Your Impact:
You will be part of the Silicon One team, which is at the heart of our software and ASIC design efforts. As a Physical Design Engineer, you will contribute to backend implementation work across key stages of chip design, helping move complex designs from RTL toward GDS.
You will work on physical synthesis, place and route, optimization, timing closure, and floor planning activities. Success in this role means delivering high-quality implementation results, learning quickly from senior engineers, and helping improve the flow and methodology used by the team.
Contribute to physical synthesis, place and route, optimization, and timing closure for complex VLSI designs.

Key Responsibilities

Influence next generation ATE tester and Test Cell product roadmaps
Work directly with leading edge semiconductor companies supporting their efforts to develop Test Cells to enable advanced chip designs to market
Responsible for the mastering of Teradyne Test Cell products, product applications and policies.
Provide expert advice to customers, Sales, FAEs and support staff while working closely with sales/marketing management and test cell staff to ensure that relevant technical information is promptly and accurately communicated
Develop strategic relationships throughout our sales team and customer's key technical decision makers
Work with marketing on technical differentiation and generation of technical proofs for use by the customer team.
Develop, present, and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements
Coordinate, develop and deliver product demonstrations which display the value of our solutions
Works closely with customers to define new test cell opportunities and support existing sustainment activities. Travel requirements could be 25% or greater.
Lead in new product introduction with integration at customer sites with project management, hands-on integration, and training activities.
Support emerging markets, acting as a liaison between customers and the engineering, marketing, and operations teams to help with their product development.
