Job Description
As an Internal App Builder at Base44, youll design and build tools that support our teams, and in the process, push our platform to its creative and technical limits. Youll turn real business needs into fully functional apps, while experimenting with new features, edge cases, and ambitious builds that test what Base44 can really do. Your work wont just power internal operations - it will generate insights that shape our product roadmap and help us deliver a stronger platform for all our users.
What youll do
Build internal tools, dashboards, and workflows on Base44 to support product, engineering, and business teams
Explore and stretch the boundaries of the platform by attempting complex or unconventional builds that reveal strengths and limitations
Share findings directly with product managers and engineers to inform new features, improvements, and fixes
Prototype quickly, iterate often, and showcase whats possible with Base44
Maintain and refine internal apps to ensure reliability, usability, and scalability
Document approaches, best practices, and lessons learned to inspire both internal teams and external users.
Requirements: 1-2 years of frontend/software development experience or equivalent experience building apps/tools
Comfortable experimenting with low-code/no-code or AI-driven platforms
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down business workflows into functional, scalable app designs
Curiosity and persistence to figure out how far we can go when working with platform features
Ability to debug, optimize, and refine apps for real-world use
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear product insights
Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
