We are proud to be expanding our leadership team with a VP of Engineering & GM to lead our Israel office and the Enterprise engineering team in Tel Aviv. This is a mission-critical part of our global engineering organization. Youll oversee a growing team of 50+ engineers and partner closely with Product, Security, and GTM teams to ship high-impact and high-quality cybersecurity solutions.

As well as being a technical leadership role, youll serve as the General Manager of our Israel office, shaping the culture, operations, and global connectivity of the site. Youll play a key part in shaping how our globally distributed teams work together bringing alignment, clarity, and cohesion across time zones and functions.

Youll partner closely with our CEO, CTO, and SVP of Engineering, navigating seamlessly across multiple senior stakeholders while driving both local excellence and global alignment. With deep technical expertise in cybersecurity and AI, and strong operational and commercial presence, youll play a pivotal role in building a safer, more human Internet.

This role reports to our SVP & Global Head of Engineering and is based in Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Leadership
Lead, grow, and mentor a 50+ person R&D team based in Tel Aviv, covering backend, frontend, data engineering, and more.

Set high standards for software design, architecture, performance, and reliability.

Work closely with Product and Research teams to define and deliver on our product roadmap.

Collaborate with global Engineering peers to drive cohesive execution, system design, and technical decision-making.

Drive innovation in AI/ML and modern security architectures, ensuring we remain at the forefront of defending the internet.

Technical Brand & Thought Leadership
Contribute to our external technical brand through blogs, conference talks, open-source contributions, or community leadership.

Be a culture carrier for engineering excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Were looking for an experienced and visionary VP of R&D to lead and scale engineering organization. This is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the CTO, responsible for driving technical strategy, execution, and delivery across multiple product lines.
You will lead our delivery teams, work closely with Product and Architecture, and ensure we build a secure, scalable, and innovative cloud-native platform.

In this role, you will lead a team of Machine Learning Scientists and Engineers dedicated to building, training, and deploying cutting-edge Generative AI models. This includes developing foundation models trained on our companys extensive textual data and creating fine-tuned models designed to tackle complex travel-related tasks. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing the application of AI to transform the travel experience for millions of customers.
As a technical manager, you should be passionate about GenAI technology, keep up to date with recent breakthroughs in the field, define and shape the teams ML roadmap, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty with code when needed.
You are expected to be the focal point for all technical aspects, make sure your team members deliver on their tasks, and work together with other stakeholders to define and shape the roadmap of our products. You will work independently and will also be responsible for making technical decisions within your team.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Leadership in LLM Development- Build, Guide and mentor a team of ML scientists and ML engineers in the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of large language models (LLMs) tailored for the travel domain.
Expertise in the engineering aspects of deploying LLMs at scale with minimal latency. This includes optimizing model performance, scalability, and efficiency to meet the demands of real-time, high-traffic applications.
Define and communicate the technical vision and strategy for LLM-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Prioritize work in collaboration with Product Managers, depending on business needs and keeping stakeholders aligned at all times.
Translate machine learning vision and strategy into planning and execution, and ensure timely delivery of their plans.
Develop innovative ML models, algorithms, and engineering approaches or identify existing ones, with the potential to impact our business.
Design and execute applied research plans to understand, apply, test, evolve, and generalize these technologies into reusable frameworks.
Translate business problems into viable, reliable and robust ML and AI solutions, accounting for constraints of the production environment.
Monitor product health, performance and business impact and act accordingly when requirements are not met.
Identify underlying issues and opportunities across domains and situations that are not obviously related through application of structured thinking and logic.
Solve issues by applying methods and insights gained from a variety of disciplines, navigating a variety of environments.

We are rapidly growing into various verticals as stated above and looking to grow our team with a developer relations leader. This role is a key member of the team that would manage our technical engagements in leading industries such as general AI/ML applications development, consumer internet, AI on embedded systems and others; and to evangelize our portfolio of technologies and accelerate its adoption among developers. Lead participation in targeted customer and industry developer events and activities. Chair technical activities spanning product divisions and sales geographies, particularly with solution architects, software developers and engineering resources, developer marketing contribute towards our local ecosystem strategy and development of our value messaging for your customers.
