We are currently seeking a Partner Technical Specialist (PTS-P) for Automation software. Main technical focus will be on the IT Automation products such as Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana, Hashicorp terraform & Vault. This role is responsible for driving Israel Ecosystem technical sales of our software technologies for the Israeli resell market.
As a partner-facing technical sales professional, you will become an essential part of the strategy, driving partners to incorporate our technology into their reference architectures, practices, and solutions. You will lead the effort to increase partners technical expertise for demonstrating and deploying our Technology at scale through their sales and technical sellers, while laying a key role in growing the capability and capacity of the Israeli Partner Ecosystem.
You will also be expected to actively collaborate and work closely with the Israeli Ecosystem and Technology sales teams to ensure that the partner revenue objectives are met on a consistent basis.
As Partner Technical Specialist for the Automation software portfolio, you will:
Develop a deep expertise on the software products, as well as a broad-range vision of overall Technology.
Own the technical relationship with partners and work to establish a reputation as a deeply trusted technology expert, and shape partner's technical agenda toward our software offerings
Facilitate pre-sales technical activities with Israeli Ecosystem Partners.

Experience in Software Pre-sales or Sales Engineering.
Ability to engage in face-to-face partner engagements.
Quick self-learner with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and lead initiatives.
Eagerness to seek and build new skills.
This position requires technical knowledge as described, along with understanding the business value to partners. It requires capabilities to lead partners to drive sales success though technical competency.
Ideally, the candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude and customer-facing presentation skills, along with knowledge of as many products as possible within the Automation Platform space, including technologies such as Openshift, Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana, Hashicorp terraform & Vault.
