The Communications & Brand team is looking for a superstar Marketing & Brand Design Lead to take our visual language to new heights. If youre a creative with B2C experience who enjoys the intersection of travel and fintech, this is the role for you.
Reporting to the VP of Communications & Brand, this creative role will have a huge impact on taking our to new heights visually.
Responsibilities
Run our brand and marketing design operation like a well-oiled machine, managing our in-house tasks, deadlines, and brand designers along with third-party contractors, fulfilling the design needs quickly and creatively across teams including Comms, Growth (Retention & Biz Dev), Ops/HR, and more.
Be the #1 brand ambassador, upholding our brand design to ensure all visuals published externally are high-quality, on-brand, and impactful.
Be the green light that signs off on when Brand & Marketing materials are final from a design perspective and ready to go live, ensuring we maintain brand consistency and guidelines across the organization.
Oversee, lead, and execute a brand uplift to evolve our design language, fine-tuning how we express ourselves visually.
Evolve our visual language so it accurately communicates the brands identity and values across all campaigns and platforms, refining and continually updating the brand book.
Partner with Product and Product Design to ensure consistency and alignment.
Own design and A/B testing of marketing pages (e.g., campaign landing pages) and website pages, working closely with R&D to prepare the designs for development.
Fine-tune our design language across Community initiatives, B2B sales collateral, and event presence (including physical booth designs), ensuring all digital and print assets are on-brand.
Develop a distinct UGC (User-Generated Content) and social media design language that resonates with younger audiences.
Craft the designs of company merchandise for both employees, travelers and travel partners.
Ensure the entire company has easy access to external-facing design materials.
Translate conceptual ideas into compelling design elements, visuals and ads that effectively deliver the brand message to the target audience.
Oversee market research initiatives to better understand how consumers perceive and respond to our brand.
Requirements: 8-10 years of marketing and brand design experience, preferably at a high-growth startup catering to American consumers.
Highly proficient in video editing tools and design platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
Extensive portfolio showcasing a breadth of work in brand development and visual design.
Marketing design experience, including ads, landing pages, A/B testing and more, UGC style videos, working with various stakeholders, including development.
You have an excellent knowledge of the fundamentals in design, typography and color, and have the ability to think of a design challenge end-to-end.
Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills, with experience managing creative and marketing processes at scale.
Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing team members in-house as well as third-party freelancers or agencies.
A strong sense of ownership, independence, and organization in high-volume, dynamic environments.
Experience in creative strategy or production roles.
Experience in travel tech, insurtech and/or fintech, a plus.
Experience using AI tools to enhance design, a plus.
Fluent English speaker.
