building and owning AI FinOps capabilities

What you'll do:
Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud, SaaS, and AI-related spend (AWS / GCP / Azure, vendors, LLMs)
Create visibility into usage, cost drivers, and efficiency metrics
Identify and drive optimization of inefficiencies (e.g., underutilization, over-provisioning, inefficient usage, excess AI consumption)
Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to translate usage into cost drivers and influence cost-aware architecture decisions
Build or support dashboards, tools, and automation for cost visibility and monitoring
Contribute to AI FinOps (governance, automation, agents) and/or Cloud/Vendor FinOps (vendor management, budgeting, forecasting).
