We are seeking a Software QA Automation Engineer to join our Storage team. In this role, you will be part of the QA Automation group, focusing on testing in the areas of Storage, Linux, and Networking ensuring our products achieve industry-leading benchmarks in efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will work on testing Storage and Networking drivers, quickly adapt to new features, and perform both manual and automated test execution.
What you'll be doing:
Review arch design and requirements for new features.
Design and execute tests for the new features, as part of software GA releases.
Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, raise if not fixed.
Execute tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, security. report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity.
Define and build setups topologies for appropriate product coverage.
Developing & Writing automation infrastructure in multiple frameworks. Developing sophisticated, stable, automation frameworks to increase efficiency, re-usability, and flexibility. Enhancements & maintenance of each framework.
Schedule test runs, publish reports and analysis with detailed and specific bug reports for failures.
Requirements: What we need to see:
Practical / B.A. / B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in the field of QA automation testing.
4+ years of Hands-on experience in scripting and automation languages such as Python, PyTest, or Bash.
3+ years of Hands-on experience with Linux systems and Networking environments.
Independent, responsible worker, able to plan and execute.
Clear verbal, proficient written and spoken English.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge in Virtualization and Storage.
Experience in working with Traffic tools (FIO, DD etc).
Experience in working with PyTest and leading system designs.
Hands-on experience or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
