What you will be doing:
* Primary responsibility is centered on establishing a cohesive medical information function within medical affairs. Will develop subject matter expertise over time to serve as a point of contact for internal and external medical inquiries, providing accurate, balanced, and evidence-based responses.
* Develop, manage and update a searchable medical information database to ensure timely and compliant communication with external stakeholders.
* Craft standardized response letters (SRLs), FAQs, and custom responses for HCPs and internal teams
* Monitor and critically evaluate emerging scientific literature, congress presentations, and clinical trial updates in order to routinely update SRLs, FAQs etc.
* Will partner with MSLs to maintain a Real-Time medical insights and intelligence repository based on field interactions.
* Participate as a medical reviewer on promotional and non-promotional material review boards.
* Ensure that all content complies with applicable laws, industry codes (e.g., EFPIA, ABPI), and internal SOPs.
* Support medical training initiatives and provide scientific input at internal meetings and external events.
* Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical Development.
Requirements: Qualifications:
* PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent with specialization in neurosciences, movement disorders, or a relevant field is preferred.
* 3+ years experience within a medical affairs department (either Medical Device and/or Biopharma Industry) is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability and comfort-level collaborating with scientific teams and interacting with physicians, scientists and other scientific leaders at healthcare institutions.
* Scientific knowledge and expertise in clinical neurosciences, with experience/interest in movement disorders.
* Proven ability to review, interpret and present scientific information and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
* Must be self-directed and comfortable with identifying and presenting strategies to leadership for new initiatives and activities.
* Willingness and ability to travel with at least 30% travel required (including international).
