Job Summary
In this hybrid fixed term role (2 days remote, 3 days in office), you will be part of the Materials & Biological Safety (MBS) team, responsible for creating and maintaining material data and biological safety information, for medical devices manufactured by our company. as Materials & Biological Safety Associate Specialist. You will be responsible for providing ongoing material and biological safety support for R&D and Engineering teams and regulatory submissions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Local/site point of contact for internal employees, external clients and service providers regarding materials and biological safety of West Medical Devices platforms mainly VTD and V2B.
Support the design and development teams with materials research, evaluation, and selection. Liaise with Product Design, Validation & Verification and Project Managers/Leads to achieve project goals through high quality, accurate and timely completion of deliverables.
Responsible for directing external/third-party biocompatibility testing service providers and coordinate testing at external labs.
Coordinate, build and procure sample devices from the manufacturing plant for use in biocompatibility and/or chemical characterization evaluations.
Create (author) and/or review and approve biocompatibility test plans, protocols, and reports.
Create (author) and/or review and approve biological gap assessments for Medical Devices and manufacturing process.
Create (author) and/or review Biological Risk Assessment (BRA) /Toxicological Risk Assessment (TRA) in preparation for completing biocompatibility testing and chemical characterization programs.
Provide general ongoing materials and biological safety support with customer requests/inquiries, regulatory body or customer audits, and regulatory submissions.
Maintain thorough understanding of relevant ISO standards, quality system and laboratory testing accreditation requirements.

We are looking for a Validation & Analysis Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of validation infrastructure for Radar, LiDAR, and sensor fusion systems within the AV Sensing team.
This role requires working at our Jerusalem offices 2 days per week.
What will your job look like:
Own the end-to-end validation process for autonomous sensing systems (Radar, LiDAR, and sensor fusion), from definition to execution
Build the validation infrastructure, methodologies, and workflows required to ensure system robustness and safety
Define validation strategy: test coverage, success metrics, and failsafe verification approaches
Translate product and system requirements into structured validation plans and measurable outcomes
Work in close collaboration with R&D, algorithms, system engineering, and product teams
Identify gaps in testability, observability, and lead solutions to address them
Establish scalable processes for validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Present insights, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders to drive decision-making.

Required R&D V&V Engineer (Maternity Leave Replacement)

As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients lives around the world.
This is a contract position for 8 months (Maternity Leave Replacement)
How you will make an impact:
You will have a leading role within a small team of expert engineers and technicians, working closely with global R&D and testing teams at our new state-of-the-art R&D center in Caesarea.
Design and execute bench tests as part of R&D projects: collect inputs, translate them to design specifications, design test systems, run tests, and validate the systems.
Lead, coordinate, and participate in cadaver and animal studies.
Perform research activities (review and search for clinical papers and publications).
Collaborate closely with QA on systems validation, test plans, test method validations, and study protocols and reports.
Maintain clear, structured, and traceable documentation of all test data, results, and records.
Interface with USA headquarters (travel 1-3 times a year; evening phone calls).
Organization and rigor are at the heart of this role. We work in a testing environment where the integrity and traceability of data is paramount.
