A global company in the Sharon area is looking for a LOGISTICS SHIPPING COORDINATOR - Temporary project for about a year and a half
Export & Import Management
Complex Projects: Coordinate vessel importation, liaise with the Ministry of Transport, and provide weekly updates and solutions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs and Israel Governmental ministries requirement, including dual-use and radioactive equipment handling.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain communication with stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple tasks within short timeframes, manage requests and coordinate with freight forwarding companies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Conduct price list reviews and negotiate shipping related quotes effectively.
Requirements: - At least 7 years of experience in the field - experience with Import/Export transportation/freight forwarding as well as in coping/dealing with the Israeli Import and Export Regulatory Regimes, including Israel Governmental agencies and other entities.
- BA degree or higher with a preference to Logistics/Business Management/Industrial Management
- High level English
