We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Opto-Mechanical R D team. The role focuses on end-to-end design of multidisciplinary systems that integrate mechanics, optics, and electronics, supporting innovative product development from concept to serial production.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical design and development of new opto-mechanical products.
Design of complex assemblies and ruggedized systems for harsh environments (temperature, vibration, shock, water, etc.).
Mechanical housing and enclosure design for optical and electronic components.
Design mechanical parts for machining, die casting, and injection molding.
Collaborate with optical, electrical, and industrial design teams.
Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation using SolidWorks.
Support validation, testing, and production processes.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering mandatory.
5+ years of mechanical design experience.
Experience in opto-mechanical design (optical elements, lens assemblies, etc.) is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in SolidWorks mandatory.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing technologies (machining, die casting, injection molding).
Experience in the defense industry an advantage.
