We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work closely with our product team to build our unique product offering. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building complex backend designs that are both scalable and fault-tolerant, developing our data ingestion pipeline and introducing new analysis engines.


What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.

Youll have end-to-end responsibility from the technical design phase up to making sure the system is scalable and can meet high customer demands in production.

Your responsibilities will span from design to implementation of a complex, time critical, micro services based system that processes high volumes of data. You will collaborate with various teams, including the algo, data and product teams, in order to deliver the best code using high end technologies.

We are running on AWS with Python as the main programming language. We are using various technologies (such as S3, RabbitMQ, Temporal, Opensearch, DynamoDB, Postgres, Docker, Redis, Prometheus and others) to run our services. We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the technical direction of our core backend layer and lead the engineers building it. The systems you'll own handle bursty, high-throughput workloads: thousands of requests per second, strict latency requirements, distributed coordination, hard concurrency problems. You'll shape the architecture, review the designs, and still write the code.
