We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to lead and drive strategic initiatives that optimize the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of our supply chain operations at Siemens Mobility Israel.
You will possess a deep understanding of SCM processes, strategic planning, and project management, with a proven track record of successful implementation of SCM strategies.
In this critical role, you will lead all materials requirements for projects and develop and maintain data driven methodologies to support the proactive management of suppliers and ensure efficiency, train reliability, sustainability, safety and delivery to our customers.
You will Build, Develop and execute comprehensive SCM strategies.
You will be responsible for strategic, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning.
You will:
Deploys SCM Strategy according to superior strategy.
Defines and ensures implementation of SCM standards, regulations and guidelines.
Responsible for profit and loss (P&L).
Takes care for effective risk management measures.
Ensures efficiency of SCM operations.
Takes final decision on SCM unit organization, unit related budgets and decides resource allocation.
Heads organization assigned and leads all related management and staff.
Acts as personal advisor to unit's Executives and Senior Management in all SCM-related issues.
Youll make an impact by:
Leading the SCM team - People & Processes, for keeping functional continuity.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
Understanding and articulating the project's material requirements and delivery schedules in conjunction with operations and the project management.
Strategically managing the overbook in coordination with planning and forecasting teams to guarantee sufficient material coverage for the project and maintain production adherence.
Detailed understanding of the current stock list on hand as well as incoming, making sure materials stock provision is managed.
Completing accountability for reporting the materials status in comparison to production plans, encompassing all consumable and repairable materials
Co-ordinating and being responsible for all material obsolescence for the project, which may involve interacting with the supply chain.
Our office is in Ashkelon Expect 3 days at the office, One day in Rosh Haayin.
Requirements: Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering.
You have experience in managing people.
You have 5-7 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement, preferably in a project-based industry (e.g. construction, technology, etc.).
You convince with high analytical competence, a high level of commitment, your focus on results, a confident manner, and your assertiveness.
You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications and have experience with commercial SAP applications as well as with logistics and inventory management software.
English in high level talking and writing.
