About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled system Engineer to take ownership of an advanced armed UAV platform.
This position involves full lifecycle responsibility for multidisciplinary projects from concept and requirements definition, through system architecture, hardware and software design, payload integration, testing, qualification, and customer deployment.
The role requires a strong multidisciplinary mindset and the ability to lead complex technological efforts, aligning R&D, product, testing, and production teams toward shared goals while driving the continuous evolution of the UAV platforms capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a coherent, modular, and scalable system roadmap for the UAV platform, supporting both current and future projects.
- Translate operational and project needs into system -level specifications and executable development plans.
- Define system interfaces and allocate requirements between subsystems (avionics, payload, communications, armament, etc.).
- Plan and oversee integration, validation, ground tests, flight tests, and qualification processes ensuring full traceability from requirements to testing.
- Conduct performance analysis, troubleshoot system -level issues, and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Manage system documentation, including design rationales, trade-offs, and TEST results (SRS, ICD, ATP, TEST plans, etc.).
- Lead technical and design reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and participate in safety and certification processes.
Requirements: Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering mandatory.
- M.E. in Systems Engineering an advantage.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a system Engineer working on multidisciplinary systems.
- Hands-on experience with software-intensive systems that include sensors, Embedded computing, AI, and communications.
- Relevant background in the defense industry; familiarity with MIL- STD systems engineering methodologies, reliability, and safety principles.
- Experience with UAV or airborne systems a strong advantage.
- Proven knowledge in integration, verification, and validation processes.
- Experience leading and supporting field and flight tests. Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on, analytical, and mission-driven approach with a passion for delivering complete systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bridge multiple disciplines and stakeholders effectively.
