We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join our team. As a team, we are focused on delivering high-quality, scalable infrastructure and backend features. In this role, youll be responsible for developing and maintaining automation tests and infrastructure, while also contributing to manual QA efforts when needed. Youll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA professionals to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
What Youll Do:
Develop and maintain automation tests and infrastructure to support backend and data-intensive features.
Be responsible for performance, system, and correctness tests for the team.
Expand automation test coverage across multiple components and environments.
Participate in manual testing efforts when needed, especially during regression cycles or critical releases.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure seamless workflows and high-quality deliverables.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and performance-related issues.
Be an integral part of grooming, retrospective, and sprint planning meetings to help shape priorities, improve processes, and ensure team alignment.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in automation and quality assurance.
Requirements: Youll Do It Using:
3+ years of experience in automation development, with a focus on server-side testing (Java, Python, or similar).
Experience with tools and platforms such as AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Git.
Familiarity with Linux environments.
Advantage:
Experience with performance/load testing tools
Background in mathematics/statistics - an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
