The trivago innovation center is looking for a passionate and seasoned Senior Data Analyst to join our DATA team. In this role, you will take the analytical lead on our disruptive B2C product and play a key role in driving customer acquisition, marketing performance, and strategic business growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and commercial thinking, a deep understanding of large-scale data environments, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights. You will partner closely with Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to influence decision-making, optimize performance, and support scalable growth initiatives.
About the role:
How you’ll make an impact: Customer & Growth Analytics: Analyze customer acquisition funnels, campaign performance, and behavioral trends to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance. Strategic Decision Making: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations and support scalable, data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. Performance Optimization: Lead deep-dive analyses and A/B testing initiatives to optimize bidding strategies, channel efficiency, and marketing investments. Data Visualization & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that deliver clear and impactful business insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Data Infrastructure Collaboration: Work closely with Data Science and Analytics teams on data modeling, tracking methodologies, and scalable analytics solutions. Business Impact: Translate complex analytical findings into measurable business outcomes while supporting the company’s performance and revenue goals.

Requirements: Experience & Technical Skills: Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis and interpretation, supporting Marketing, Product, or Business teams in fast-paced environments. SQL: High proficiency in SQL is required, including working with large and complex datasets. BI Systems: Strong experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Sisense, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms. Data Infrastructure: Experience working with modern data warehouse/data lake environments such as Snowflake, Clickhouse, Athena, or BigQuery. Python: Practical knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation workflows. Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present analytical insights clearly to both technical and business audiences. Execution: Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive data-informed decisions in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
