As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality of our software and serve as a key function within the QA team. You will guide, support, and implement a shift-left approach, actively collaborating with developers to integrate testing practices earlier in the development lifecycle, addressing quality considerations in feature lifecycle stages, and minimizing potential issues before they escalate. In addition, you will take a significant part in the organizations automation efforts, helping to define, implement, and maintain automated tests to ensure high-quality software while enabling faster and more reliable releases.
Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and run comprehensive test plans for both new and existing complex features, leveraging a deep understanding of product, business, and technical requirements.
Champion a shift-left testing philosophy, actively collaborating with developers to integrate testing earlier in the software development lifecycle.
Proactively identify and address potential quality issues at the early stage of development, minimizing risks and enhancing overall product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis for identified bugs, leveraging analytical skills to pinpoint the underlying issues and collaborating with the team to implement effective resolutions.
Collaborate with developers automation engineer to drive the organizations automation efforts. Define scenarios for automated tests, write and maintain automated test scripts, and ensure strong regression coverage.
Work independently to execute assigned tasks, taking ownership of the testing process and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and practices, helping the team evolve and maintain high-quality standards.
Mentor and guide team members in QA best practices, test design, and automation approaches, fostering knowledge sharing and supporting continuous learning within the team.
Requirements: Minimum 4 years of QA engineering experience.
Proficiency in running manual tests for web applications (client and server-side).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to perform deep root cause analysis.
Experience in writing test plans based on new feature requirements.
In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and version release process.
Hand-on experience with logs and monitoring tools.
At least 1 year of experience working with test automation frameworks, preferably with Playwright and TypeScript.
