Description
You will engage in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to integrate new technologies into a product category that represents the frontier of consumer electronics, responsible for ensuring the quality of the SOC
Define system level behaviour of the wireless sub-system - HW definitions, HW-FW partition etc
Write system level documentation.
Have strong communication skills combined with good collaborative approach to lead complex integration efforts in a specific area of the system
Strong debug capabilities. You will triage problems and understand if it is MAC/PHY, HW/SW and propose FW work around / HW fixes
Work closely with design, FW and micro-architecture teams to define the functional & performance goals of the system
Work independently & lead deliverables to align with the project goals plus support multi-functional engineering efforts

We are looking for a creative and motivated HW development engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
The HW development engineers responsibilities include designing and integrating analog and digital blocks in the company`s flagship product.
The HW development engineer will report to the HW manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Design and integration of analog circuits including magnetics and communication filters.
Board designing with emphasis on Power circuit.
Design with ENC/EMI considerations.
Board simulations.
Layout, BOM, and DFM knowledge.
Design power converters: DC-DC, AC-DC, AC-AC.
Magnetics analysis using magnetic measuring tools and validation of theoretical results.
Close work with embedded FW team.

* Key contributor in complex debug tasks for issues found by customers; build debug strategies and hands-on work with the design team through the debug.
* Develop deep knowledge of customer applications and systems, recommend application solutions, design ideas and products to customer design teams.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., reference schematics , application notes, design guidelines).
* Provide inputs and participate in next generation ICs definition based on customer inputs.
* Contribute to the definition of innovative and differentiated products.

* Conduct Layout design reviews.
* Prepare all manufacturing and assembly files.
* Layout of silicon photonics chips – Understand the PDK and design rules.
* Prepare all production material for tape-out.
* Interface with suppliers about technical questions.
