Procurement and IP Manager Nuvoton Israel, a leading supplier of microcontrollers and security hardware solutions for tier-1 customers in the computing and servers business, is seeking an experienced Procurement and IP Manager to lead our procurement, contract management, and intellectual property activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement Management:
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company policies and international headquarters guidelines
* Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, focusing on cost optimization and service quality improvement
* Oversee procurement for R&D departments and general site needs
* Use the SAP system and other supporting system for efficient procurement operations
* Collaborate with finance to ensure budget alignment and cost control
* Manage relationships with international and local suppliers, particularly those related to electronic components or technical services
2. Contract and IP Management:
* Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including IP, NDAs, procurement, consulting, services, and licensing agreements
* Manage the contract approval process within the organization
* Coordinate with external legal counsel on agreements, litigation, and business legal proceedings
* Facilitate the patent application process aligned with company IP guidelines
* Develop and maintain IP rights preservation policies
3. Cross-functional Leadership:
* Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Finance, HR, Operations) to support business initiatives
* Manage the company's insurance portfolio
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws
* Provide risk mitigation strategies

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in law, Accounting, Industrial engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred - 10+ years of experience as a procurement manager in a high-tech R&D organization - Strong understanding of complex and diverse agreements, from initiation to final approval - Experience in technology-related laws, including IP, data privacy, and open-- source licensing - Proven track record in negotiating complex agreements and managing large-scale contracts - Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - Fluency in English and Hebrew (native level) - Technical or engineering background Is a significant advantage
