Full-time position in a hybrid model (from companys offices at Raanana/from home), reporting to NPI &ODM team leader. The Program and NPI Engineer will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between research and development (R&D) and Operations. This position involves managing the transfer of new product lines, overseeing tactical programs, and optimizing cross-company processes, validations, and documentation. This role is crucial in managing the seamless transition of new products from R&D to operations, overseeing tactical programs, and optimizing cross-company processes. Roles & Responsibilities: New Product Introduction (NPI):
* Lead the seamless transfer of new products from R&D to manufacturing operations.
* Manage the NPI process, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
* Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align on NPI goals and timelines.
* Implement best practices for efficient NPI processes, including design reviews, validation, and documentation. Program Management:
* Manage tactical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute program plans.
* Track and report program progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Utilize matrix management skills to lead and influence teams without direct authority. Cross-Company Processes:
* Optimize and streamline cross-company processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational excellence. Validations and Documentation:
* Oversee product validations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Develop and maintain thorough documentation throughout the NPI process.
* Work closely with quality and regulatory teams to ensure products meet required standards.
Requirements: * Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience of at least 3 years in NPI and program management within Tier 1 or Tier 2 manufacturers.
* Experience in companies with an annual volume exceeding $50 million.
* Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* MS project experience.
* AI tolls adoption experience (copilot, Chat GPT, perplexity, curser etc.).
* Ability to navigate and excel in a matrix management environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with consumer electronics industry standards and regulations.
