A growing start-up company is looking for an experienced IT Expert to oversee and support their Linux-based infrastructure across global sites. Reporting to the VP Operations, you will lead IT operations, manage networks, and drive technical initiatives that enable company growth. This is a hands-on role requiring strong system administration, project leadership, and vendor management skills.
The company is located in Yokneam Ilit, working in a hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Linux systems in distributed environments
Oversee global network infrastructure, ensuring performance and security
Act as primary system administrator: configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization
Lead IT projects: upgrades, deployments, integrations, and solution design
Select and implement tools and technologies
Manage vendors and service providers
Collaborate with internal teams and support global users remotely
Maintain documentation and best practices
Identify and drive continuous system improvements.
Requirements: 5+ years in system administration or IT infrastructure roles
Proven experience with Linux production environments
Strong networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
Experience supporting distributed global environments and remote teams
Hands-on experience with infrastructure deployments and configuration management
Vendor and contract management experience
Strong project management and communication skills
Knowledge of automation/scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.).
