We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our System of Systems project, focused on developing innovative aerospace solutions. You will lead systems integration efforts and ensure seamless functionality across various systems.
Responsibilities:
Own the systems engineering of a complex System of Systems (SoS), maintaining the overall system-level view across multiple interconnected systems and subsystems.
Translate operational and customer needs into system architecture, clear and verifiable requirements, and system and interface specifications.
Define and manage interfaces and cross-system dependencies across radar, electro-optic, software and hardware teams.
Lead system integration, verification and validation activities, including system-level troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, and participate in field integration and test campaigns (ground and live-fire test events).
Identify system risks, interface gaps and integration challenges early, and drive technical solutions with the relevant engineering teams.
Participate in and contribute to system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and technical trade-off studies from a System of Systems perspective.

Responsibilities

Select and evaluate hardware components for electro-optical systems.
Analyze datasheets, ICDs, application notes, and technical specifications.
Work directly with suppliers on technical evaluations, integration requirements, and component selection.
Integrate cameras, sensors, and peripherals with embedded/edge computing platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson).
Support hardware bring-up, system integration, testing, and debugging.
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, power, communications, drivers, cabling, thermal performance, and system stability.
Define and execute component-level and system-level validation tests.
Maintain BOMs, wiring diagrams, integration documentation, and test procedures.
Support transition from prototype to production and field deployment.

You will develop automation infrastructure for validating embedded camera and depth-sensing hardware. This includes device control, power sequencing, frame capture, and external instrumentation. You will make it reliable enough to run unattended, overnight, and across many units.

You will also design, write, and maintain automated test suites covering firmware, drivers, and host software. When a test fails, you will drive it to root cause alongside the firmware, hardware, and systems engineers you work closely with. Your results will directly inform release decisions.

Own the automated version release process, from firmware and software builds to automated validation gates and release reports
Design and develop a Python/Pytest test automation framework that makes tests easy to write, reuse, and run across devices and stations
Write and maintain automated test suites for firmware, drivers, and host software, including functional, negative, and long-duration stability tests
Design, build, and maintain test stations, including fixtures, wiring, and supporting MCU-based hardware
Build tooling to capture and analyze data such as raw frames, timing traces, and logs, turning the results into clear pass/fail metrics
Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues through to root cause
Make test results visible through dashboards, trend tracking, regression detection, and triage workflows
